I am the secretary of the Muslim Students Association, and we wanted to hold a “Tea Bazaar” event in the Language Commons. We plan to showcase different teas from cultures in the Middle East, South Asia, and more. I think the Language Commons would be a great place for our student body to learn about the different teas and their cultural significance while socializing on the variety of furniture in the entire room.
As far as technological needs, I don’t anticipate needing A/V equipment but the option to connect a laptop to the projector and sound system would be appreciated.
As far as furniture organization, I believe the room as is should be sufficient. This should be a fairly low-maintenance event so LC staff should not need to do much.

I changed the date of the reservation to a week ago so that it will save it for the future.
