Friday, April 28, 2023, 9:00am-4:00pm in the Language Commons.

Our largest annual event is a competitive language challenge that has world-language teams compete against each other to see which team can keep their language in use the longest. Last Language Standing draws 350+ students, faculty, and staff from across Grounds to use their language skills and support their language teams.

Participants sign up for time slots throughout the day and do activities with their group using only their world language. Use of English will not be permitted during the competition, except for communication with LC staff, unless a staff member also speaks the world language of the participant.

Please join us for this year's Last Language Standing on Friday, April 28, 2023, 9:00am-4:00pm. Registration and a meet-and-greet will begin at 9:00am, and the competition will run from 10:00am-4:00pm.

Food will be provided throughout the day, and participants will receive a small, commemorative gift, while supplies last. Winning teams will also receive a small gift.
