Lab Activity

Audio Dubbing

Description:

Students are given a video to watch. Students work with the video and come up with audio that they dub into the video to replace the original audio. Students use the Reaper software provided by the lab to dub in the new audio and remove the current audio. Video can be recorded and saved and reviewed by the students and instructor.

Modifications:

The lab coordinator can remove the audio ahead of time so that students have to imagine the audio on their own. Students can also narrate the video instead of trying to overdub the actual audio along with the characters or actors.
