Audio Book Discussion
Description:
Instructor selects a section from an audiobook for students to listen too. Students write a synopsis of the section in the target language and discuss it with a partner. Instructor may listen in to discussions and offer feedback to the students. Students may also share their comments on the audiobook with other students in the class.
Modifications:
Students may be required to listen to the entire audiobook as a part of their out-of-class assignments. Students may do an oral presentation for the class and/or write a synopsis of the book in the target language.
